If you read our post yesterday on volunteer opportunities and want to help but just don’t think you have time right now, consider this. You can help by simply going to the circus!

The Big Apple Circus comes to Stone Mountain Park around this time every year (they arrive February 13, 2009) and proceeds from their show help fund 5 wonderful programs.

Clown Care, Vaudeville Caravan, Circus After School, Circus For All and Circus of the Senses bring the circus to sick and disabled children, the elderly living in retirement facilities, and underprivileged and at-risk children.

The Big Apple Circus is a one-ring circus which makes it perfect for small children who simply can’t watch three rings at once!

For more information or to purchase tickets visit their website: Big Apple Circus or stop by Stone Mountain Park (once they set up the box office).
